Our Story
In 2010, sisters Anna and Sarah, aged 12 and 8, baked a batch of cookies for their Dad to take to work at our local Moscow Post Office. They were a hit, prompting co-workers to suggest selling them at the Moscow Farmers Market. With the support of their mom, Connie, the sisters set up a booth that spring and sold 12 dozen chocolate chip cookies, all of which disappeared in less than two hours. As they continued to sell out at the market, Connie joined in to help run the business as it continued to grow with repeat customers and local business carrying their cookies. If ever a successful business happened unexpectedly, Sisters Cookies is a perfect example.
Then & Now
In late 2023, as Sarah welcomed her first child, (the third generation of Sisters), Connie passed on the reins to new owner, Marie Kirchner. Marie grew up baking with her own three sisters in Western Washington. She and her family moved to Moscow in 2019 and fell in love with the warm and welcoming community here. Along with “original sister” Anna, Marie is so excited and honored to continue to carry on the Sisters legacy.
